Applicants must be able to confirm that:
- At all times since birth, they have been a British, or Commonwealth subject,
or a citizen of the Irish Republic. Pilot membership is restricted to British,
or British/Dual nationals only.
- They were born in a county, or territory, which is or has been within
the Commonwealth, or the Irish Republic.
NOTES: An applicant may be considered, even if he/she has no UK residency,
provided a MOD security check can be made with the country of domicile,
or the country(ies) in which he/she has spent the most time in the last 3 years.
An applicant with dual nationality (providing one is British) may be considered,
but the decision will rest with the MOD security Branch. |
