| Social Life |
The Squadron Mess is the social centre of the Squadron, and opens Thursday
evenings during term-time. We hold various parties throughout the year, including the
Halloween party and Christmas party. Social functions are also held at RAF St Athan Officers'
Mess during the year, including the Squadron's Annual Dinner, Graduation Dinner Guest Night,
and the Officers' Mess Summer Ball.
During Christmas camp, Easter camp, Summer camp and occasionally in term-time there are organized
nights out in to Cardiff city.
As well as socializing with members on our own Squadron we also socialize with members from other
squadrons at organized events throughout the year. The social life of the Squadron is an important,
rewarding and active part of UWAS. |
